He graduated with honours in Law from the University of Bologna in 2001, under the supervision of Professor Alberto Maffei Alberti.
He is admitted to practise before the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation and is a member of the Bologna Bar Association. He worked in academia alongside Professor Flavio Peccenini and gained significant professional experience at a leading international law firm in Milan, where he consolidated his expertise in business law.
He provides legal assistance and representation, both in litigation and out-of-court matters, in civil and commercial disputes, with particular expertise in corporate and banking litigation and in arbitration proceedings, including interim, precautionary and pre-litigation phases.
He regularly advises on corporate law and corporate governance, assisting companies and groups in the drafting and negotiation of articles of association, shareholders’ agreements and arrangements among shareholders, as well as in the management of intra-corporate disputes and proceedings concerning the liability of corporate bodies.
He assists clients with business contracts, including in international contexts, with particular focus on complex commercial agreements, joint ventures, partnerships and extraordinary transactions, including acquisitions.
He also deals with intellectual property and related contractual matters, including the negotiation of agreements and licences, as well as issues concerning plant variety rights.
He provides assistance in estate planning and succession matters, with particular attention to the coordination of civil, corporate and tax aspects.
Over the course of his professional career, he has held positions on the management and supervisory bodies of companies limited by shares.
He is the author of publications on commercial law and of contributions concerning the Italian Code of Business Crisis and Insolvency, with specific reference to cooperative companies. He also lectures and speaks at seminars on corporate governance and the liability of corporate bodies.
